AUSTIN, TEXAS — The aptly timed 2014 South by Southwest conference was a popular spring break attraction for SU students across the board. Students from the iSchool, S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, and the College of Visual and Performing Arts all gathered to attend this annual convention that hosted music, film and technology panels and events. On the music side, artists from all over the nation gathered to perform and celebrate all facets of the world of music.
Participants exchange business cards at the "College Buyers/College Radio Peer Meet Up" hosted by Kelly Benini, University Union director of concerts. The meetup provided an opportunity to exchange ideas and suggestions on issues related to college event planning and promotions.
