Gallery: SU, Syracuse community members participate in ‘die-in,’ downtown protest on Monday

Jahnessa Payne, a freshman bioengineering major, joins other protesters in a "die-in," which took place in Bird Library as part of the "March for Justice" Monday afternoon. Attendees remained on the floor for four and a half minutes to symbolize the four and a half hours that Michael Brown's body remained in the street after being shot by a police officer in Ferguson, Missouri.
