Audience members wait for the eighth annual Fashion and Beauty Communications Milestone fashion show to start.

Each year, the milestone stages a fashion show that explores an issue discussed in the mass media. This year, the show was comprised of eight segments that reflected education issues.

The segment "And the Winner Is..." incorporated an homage to Tom Cruise in "Risky Business," with a model in a white buttoned down shirt, boxers and socks without shoes.
