Friday was filled with festivities for Syracuse University students, courtesy of University Union. Mayfest kicked off the day with music and live performance by Moxie Raia and the Cheat Codes. About an hour before Mayfest began it was announced that headliner Vic Mensa would miss his performance due to flight cancellations — rapper Tunji Ige performed in his place.
For the night portion, Block Party, thousands of people packed the Carrier Dome. AlunaGeorge and ZHU opened for headliner Travis Scott, for who the crowd went wild. Here are some of the best pictures from the day.
