Bandersnatch, an event hosted by SU, is known for bringing up-and-coming artists to campus. Soon after their Syracuse performances, these lesser-known artists have been noted to top the charts. Previous performers include Chance the Rapper, Walk the Moon and Big Sean.

While Noisey says Guernsey hardly has any clubs, DJs or electronic music, Mura Masa’s parents were musically inclined. His father was an architect and played bass, while his mother played piano and used to manage the American rock band Cousins from Venus.

This year’s Bandersnatch Concert Series brought European producer/performer Mura Masa, alongside rapper Khary and Syracuse University student producer Roseville to the Goldstein Auditorium on behalf of University Union on Saturday, Nov. 11.
