Syracuse got off to a slow start and fell behind 11-0 early, but clawed back to head into the break down five. Then, out of halftime, the Orange started hitting shots and finally took a lead it would never relinquish. Behind strong performances from Frank Howard, Oshae Brissett and Tyus Battle, SU was able to move to 2-0 in exhibition ahead of its regular season opener Friday against Cornell.
