Syracuse (4-1, 0-1 Atlantic Coast) played Florida (4-2) tight in the first half, leading by one at the break. Then, the Orange scored seven-straight goals early in the second half. The Gators made a charge to get back in the game but came up short, with SU winning by a 17-15 score over UF.
