Plain White T’s is a Grammy-nominated alternative group with hit songs like “Hey There Delilah,” “Rhythm Of Love,” and “1, 2, 3, 4.” It formed in Illinois in 1997 and is made up of Tom Higgenson, Dave Tirio, Tim Lopez, Mike Retondo and De’Mar Hamilton.

The concert was a disaster recovery benefit for Virgin Islands for Veterans. Since May of 2016, the program has dedicated itself to improving the quality of life of veterans in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

With recent disasters such as Hurricanes Irma and Maria, VI4Vets has provided relief efforts by delivering food and water, clearing debris and handing out donated goods to veterans and their families.

Plain White T’s played a benefit concert at the Landmark Theatre in Syracuse Wednesday night. Proceeds benefited Virgin Islands for Veterans, a nonprofit dedicated to improving the quality of life of the veterans in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Symphoria opened the show.
