COLUMBUS, Ohio — Syracuse (4-2) upset Ohio State (6-1) on the road, 72-62. SU, after losing two-straight games at Madison Square Garden, bounced back with a win over Colgate and a pivotal road win over the Buckeyes. The Orange are undefeated with Frank Howard in the lineup and Tyus Battle led Syracuse with 20 points.
