Syracuse (1-0) blew out North Dakota (0-1) in its season opener. The Orange got strong performances from freshman five-star recruit Emily Engstler, who tallied 13 points to tie for the team lead with reserve guard Kiara Lewis, a transfer from Ohio State who sat out last season due to NCAA transfer rules and provided the Orange spark off the bench.
