Syracuse (3-2) trailed Colgate (4-2) for the majority of Wednesday’s first half in the Carrier Dome. But the Orange eventually pulled away, in part due to Tyus Battle’s 16 in the second half in a 77-56 victory. Bourama Sidibe double-doubled in extended action once Paschal Chukwu went down for Syracuse. And the Orange got senior point guard Frank Howard back from injury for his season debut.
