For the first time since Nov. 10, Syracuse (6-18-2, 6-5-1 College Hockey America) did not lose consecutive games. Early on against No. 6 Cornell (14-2-5, 11-2-1 Eastern College Athletic), SU looked to extend that streak three games, up 2-0 midway through the first period. But the Big Red rattled off five unanswered goals, including three in the final period, to hand SU its 18th loss of the season.
