No. 11 Syracuse (2-1, 0-1 Atlantic Coast) had a five-goal lead over the No. 1 team in the nation midway through Saturday’s first half in the Carrier Dome. But quickly, the Eagles (2-0, 1-0) came back. A 7-2 lead became 7-5 at half, and quickly, BC went on a 9-1 scoring run. The Orange could never recover and dropped their first game of the season to Boston College, 14-12.
