After losing three of four games on a week-long road trip, Syracuse (5-4) returned to the Carrier Dome on Sunday and easily pulled away from University of Maryland Baltimore County (2-7) in the second half for an 82-48 win. The Orange scored 40 points in the paint and limited turnovers in the second half to pull away from the Retrievers, while Digna Strautmane led SU with 17 points. After this, SU is off until Dec. 20 when it travels to Winter Park, Florida to play Michigan State in the Florida Sunshine Classic.
