Gallery: Syracuse gives up most points of season in 89-79 loss to Georgetown

In the 95th meeting between Syracuse and Georgetown, the Hoyas used a lead as large as 16 points to hold off a comeback by the Orange in their 89-79 win. That point total was the most SU has given up all season, and mitigated 20-point performances by Elijah Hughes and Buddy Boeheim — Boeheim led the Orange with 25 points after not scoring in the first half.  Syracuse now returns to the Carrier Dome to close out its nonconference schedule, starting with a game against Oakland on Wednesday.

Here are the best photos from Syracuse’s loss on Saturday afternoon.
