Many booths set up on the quad before the game in the hopes of enticing fans to purchase what they have to offer. Clothing tents were a popular spot for people looking to sport their orange at the game.

Tailgating began early Saturday morning. Families made breakfast before the noon kickoff instead of their standard BBQ food like hamburgers and hot dogs.

Crowds of people, both Syracuse and Notre Dame fans, fill the lawn of the quad as the marching band performs. With the sold out game, the crowd was larger than a normal quad show.

As the clock ticked closer to kickoff, the entirety of both teams moved from the sidelines arm in arm. Every member of the teams were present at center field for the coin toss instead of just the captains.

Sounds of cheers from the student section and all over the dome fill the air and bounce off the walls. The residual sound and echo that sat in the air and surrounded the ears of everyone in attendance gave The Loud House its name.

Sousaphones lead the Syracuse University Marching Band from around the back of Hendricks chapel as they enter onto the stairs for the quad show. The brass and woodwind sections of the band entered as the drumline played “Street Time”, one of their many cadences.
