Sophomore Didier “DJ” Dumervil, the Black Student Union’s Parliamentarian, is the master of ceremonies for Caribfest. Throughout the night, Dumervil announced pageant contestants, introduced each section of the competition and interacted with the audience through games and giveaways.

Christin Tetteh, Janeice Lopez and Fabryce Fetus — last year’s Mr. Caribfest — make up the board of judges that decide who will win the titles of Miss and Mr. Caribfest. They judged the contestants based on their talents, Carnival wear and responses to questions asked during the elegant wear section.

Tarena Woodley represents St. Kitts in the Caribfest pageant. Throughout the contest, Woodley performed a skit, made food for the judges and advocated for the importance of female independence and the privatization of water.
