Students gather in Goldstein Auditorium to dance and raise money for pediatric cancer. The dance marathon lasted 12 hours, starting at 10 a.m., until the final fundraising total was revealed at 10 p.m.

Morale co-chairs Justine Smith and Martine Schultheiss lead dancers in the first round of the OttoTHON Morale dance. The group performed the dance outside of the Children’s Hospital for all of the kids to watch out their windows.

Student organizations joined the OttoTHON activities and performed during the event every hour. Dance and acapella groups were among some of the performers at the event.

Dancers come to OttoTHON decked out in cowboy hats, tutus, bandanas and necklaces. Each participant was given a shirt to wear to the event and were encouraged to dress it up with other accessories.

Participants turn on their phone flashlights and dance about in the dimmed lights as the night starts to come to a close. The slower music gave dancers a chance to relax a little bit without fully taking a break from the 12 hour dance marathon.
