University Union announced Saturday that Brenda Song will come to Syracuse University for a conversation about being Asian American in Hollywood. The event is coordinated in collaboration with SU’s Office of BIPOC Student Success.

The show will be at Schine Student Center’s Goldstein Auditorium on April 7, and doors will open at 7 p.m.

Song, an actress known for her roles in “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody” and “The Social Network,” has built a notable resume in Hollywood through both movies and television shows, extending to roles on “New Girl” and “Dollface.”

In addition to her acting career, Song has started fundraisers for Stand Up To Cancer, a philanthropy dedicated to fighting cancer and finding a cure. The event will kick off Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month.

Tickets for the event are free for Syracuse University and SUNY ESF students with a valid ID, and are on sale now via the Student Box Office portal. Tickets are first-come, first-serve, and do not guarantee admission to the show. The JMA Wireless Dome’s Bag Policy will be in effect.
