Letter to the Editor: SU silence on education attack fails to represent students

I was completely dismayed, disappointed and concerned to see that Syracuse University is not a signatory with hundreds of other United States colleges and universities who have signed a statement denouncing the Trump administration’s “unprecedented overreach and political interference” with higher education. I assume this was the decision of Chancellor Kent Syverud without input from the student body.
