Syracuse TE Max Mang signs with Indianapolis Colts as undrafted free agent

Syracuse tight end Max Mang has signed with Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent. Mang tallied nine catches for 60 receiving yards in his SU career.
The Nuthetal, Germany, native appeared in 12 games for the Orange in 2024 after staying with the program following Dino Babers’ firing. He was vital to Syracuse’s run game, receiving a 71.6 run blocking grade on the year according to Pro Football Focus.
Mang turned 25 years old in March, and 2024 was his fifth year in the program. The 6-foot-7 tight end is the 11th player to be drafted or signed by an NFL team from SU’s first squad under Fran Brown. He’s also the sixth offensive player, and the second tight end from the Orange after Oronde Gadsden II.
