Syracuse cornerback Clarence Lewis has signed with the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent, Tony Pauline reported Saturday. Lewis was a Third-Team All-Atlantic Coast selection in his lone season with the Orange after transferring from Notre Dame. He is the fifth former SU player to be drafted or signed by an NFL team this offseason.
Across four years with the Fighting Irish, Lewis appeared in 51 games, making 23 starts. Lewis played in 12 games for SU in 2024, notching 38 tackles and an interception as a full-time starter. His 75.4 Pro Football Focus defensive grade was the second-best among Orange defenders with a minimum of 400 snaps played.
Lewis, an Edison, New Jersey, native, used his final year of eligibility at SU. He totaled 162 tackles, 29 pass breakups, four interceptions, three forced fumbles and one sack throughout his five-year collegiate career.
