Syracuse women’s rowing remained at No. 10 in the Pocock Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association Poll, released Tuesday. The result comes after the Orange’s first and second varsity boats didn’t race last week. However, their 3V4 and 3V8 placed first in 3-of-4 races to win gold at the NYS Collegiate Championships on Saturday.

SU is the third-ranked team in the Atlantic Coast Conference, only sitting behind No. 2 Stanford and No. 9 California. The Golden Bears dropped one spot this week because No. 8 Rutgers jumped up in the rankings after the Scarlet Knights’ dominant performance at the Big Ten Invitational on Friday and Saturday. Other conference foes in the top-25 include No. 12 Virginia, No. 18 Duke and No. 24 North Carolina.

Next, Syracuse faces a gauntlet of three more ranked squads in Princeton, New Jersey. It’ll square off against No. 5 Tennessee, No. 6 Princeton and No. 16 Ohio State. The Orange faced the Buckeyes a month ago in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, at the B1G/ACC/Ivy Dual and won 5-of-6 head-to-head matchups.
