Syracuse University’s full-time undergraduate tuition will rise by 4.5% for the 2025-26 academic year, alongside housing rates and the Orange Unlimited meal plan, according to a Wednesday release.

Tuition will now cost $66,580, compared to last year’s $63,710, according to SU’s approved budget for the 2025-26 academic year. On-campus housing rates will increase by 4.6%, and the Orange Unlimited meal plan by 3%, the release states.

The university will also allocate over $391 million to financial aid, the release states. This “major investment” is a 5.1% increase from last year’s $372 million financial aid budget.

“Our continued investment in financial aid ensures that students from all backgrounds can thrive here—academically, personally and professionally,” Ryan Williams, vice president for enrollment services, said in the release.

Last year’s budget raised full-time undergraduate tuition by 3.9%, room rates by about 5% and the Orange Unlimited meal plan by 3%.

“With a record-breaking number of applications this year, we look forward to welcoming one of our most exceptional incoming classes yet,” Williams said.

The budget also increases its co-curricular fee, health and wellness fee and student activity fee. The residential internet and cable access fees will remain the same, according to the release.
