Punter Jack Stonehouse has been named to the 2025 All-Atlantic Coast Conference Preseason Team, the league announced Thursday. Stonehouse is the only Syracuse player named to the team.

Entering his third year with the Orange, Stonehouse has become a staple of the roster as a Third Team All-ACC member in 2023 and an All-ACC Honorable Mention in 2024. SU head coach Fran Brown even brought Stonehouse to the ACC Kickoff event in Charlotte as one of four Syracuse representatives. He was the only specialist at the event.

Stonehouse transferred to SU from Missouri following the 2022 season. He punted in 10 games for the Tigers across two seasons, redshirting his freshman year without any playing time and averaging 42.4 yards per punt as a redshirt freshman. His two seasons with the Orange have proven to be two of the best in program history, producing 44.6 and 45.7 yards per punt — the latter the best ever for a Syracuse punter.

The redshirt senior comes from a family of punters, with his father playing for the New York Giants and his cousin, Ryan, the current punter for the Miami Dolphins.

Stonehouse received 70 votes from credentialed media members in Charlotte. Syracuse was picked to finish 12th in the overall ACC Poll and is set to face seven of the top nine teams this season.
