SPD issues two arrests in Madison Street burglary

The Syracuse Police Department issued two arrests connected to the Tuesday afternoon robbery involving a knife on the 1200 block of Madison Street, according to a campus-wide email.
The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Neither the victim nor the suspects are affiliated with the university, according to DPS.
Syracuse University’s Department of Public Safety received a report of the robbery around 5 p.m, according to a campus-wide email. DPS responded to the scene and asked students to stay away from the area.
