Davion Crumitie, a three-star recruit from Tallahassee, Florida, has committed to Syracuse, he told Rivals Tuesday night. Crumitie, a 2027 recruit, chose the Orange over offers from multiple Atlantic Coast Conference rivals.

Out of Rickards High School, Crumitie is listed as an athlete as he’s shined as a wide receiver, safety and punt returner. He received an offer from SU in late February and took an unofficial visit to Florida State at the end of August. Crumitie received offers from ACC schools Georgia Tech, Pitt and Wake Forest, as well as Illinois and Maryland from the Big Ten.

He’s ranked by 247Sports as the No. 45 player in Florida for the 2027 class and the No. 33 athlete. At 5-foot-11, 160 pounds, Crumitie also participates in track and field, winning the Florida indoor 200-meter dash as a sophomore.

Crumitie is the fifth commit in Syracuse’s 2027 class and the second from Florida. The class currently ranks fourth in the country and second among ACC schools.
