Syracuse men’s basketball has finalized its 2025-26 schedule with the announcement of its Atlantic Coast Conference slate on Tuesday.
The Orange look to snap their four-year March Madness drought, their longest since missing six straight tournaments from 1967-72. With one of the best freshman classes in the country, six transfer additions and the returns of J.J. Starling and Donnie Freeman, head coach Adrian Autry enters a pivotal third year at the helm.
Coming off the program’s worst record (14-19) since the 1968-69 campaign, SU begins the regular season with back-to-back home contests against Binghamton and Delaware State on Nov. 3 and 8, respectively. Syracuse then hits the road to play Drexel at Xfinity Mobile Arena — the home of the Philadelphia 76ers — on Nov. 15. The Orange head back to the JMA Wireless Dome to face Monmouth three days later before traveling to Las Vegas.
SU begins its week in Vegas by facing Saint Joseph’s at Thomas & Mack Center on Nov. 22 before playing in the Players Era Men’s Championship. In the 18-team NIL-based tournament, Syracuse will face Houston, Kansas and another team to be determined based on its performance across its first two games.
The Orange then head back home for six straight games in December. They start the month against Tennessee in the ACC/SEC Challenge before hosting Hofstra, Mercyhurst, Northeastern, Stonehill and Clemson to open ACC play. To begin 2026, SU travels to face Georgia Tech on either Jan. 6 or 7 and Pitt on Jan. 10.
From there, Syracuse hosts Florida State on either Jan. 13 or 14, travel to Boston College on Jan. 17 and then return home for back-to-back games against Virginia Tech and Miami the following week. To conclude January, the Orange travel to NC State before hosting Notre Dame.
SU opens February with back-to-back road games against North Carolina (Feb. 2) and Virginia (Feb. 7). The Orange return to Syracuse to host California on either Feb. 10 or 11 and SMU on Feb. 14. Two days later, SU travels to face Duke on the road before returning home to host UNC on Feb. 21. Syracuse then has a week off before traveling to face Wake Forest.
The Orange continue their road trip to face Louisville on either March 3 or 4 before concluding the regular season against Pitt at home on March 7. Postseason play begins with the ACC Tournament, which is scheduled from March 10-14 at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, N.C. If Syracuse qualifies, Selection Sunday for the NCAA Tournament is March 15.
