Syracuse 2026 commit Roseby Lubintus reopened his recruitment, he announced on social media Tuesday.
Lubintus is a three-star offensive tackle, per 247Sports, and is also a former Penn State verbal commit. The 6-foot-5, 350-pounder is rated as the 11th best prospect from New Jersey and bolstered SU’s previously No. 25 2026 class in the nation.
Lubintus is now the third verbal pledge to decommit from SU head coach Fran Brown’s 2026 haul since May.
His decision comes just two days after Penn State fired head coach James Franklin. Since then, numerous verbal commits to the Nittany Lions have reopened their recruitments, including Davion Brown and Marlen Bright, who were also recruited by SU.
Lubintus first committed to Penn State on April 25 and then flipped his commitment to SU on July 9. According to 247Sports, a little over two weeks ago, Lubintus took an unofficial visit to Penn State.
