Syracuse men’s cross country remained at No. 11 in the latest USTFCCCA National Coaches’ Poll released Tuesday. The Orange also kept the top spot in the regional polls.
SU last ran at the Paul Short Run on Friday, where it finished ninth out of 40. It started the year at No. 12, but rose a spot last week.
The women’s team remains unranked, but still received votes. The Orange received seven votes, tied for seventh most among the ten unranked teams that received votes. Though it’s down from SU’s 28 votes in the previous poll. Syracuse stayed at third in the Northeast region, trailing Boston College and Providence, who are ranked No. 23 and No. 28, respectively.
The Orange have this weekend off and return to action on Oct. 17. The teams will be split, heading to the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational and the Princeton Fall Classic, respectively.
