Former Syracuse wide receiver Marvin Harrison was selected to the National Football Foundation College Football Hall of Fame, the organization announced Wednesday. Harrison, a Pro Football Hall of Famer, tallied 2,728 receiving yards at SU from 1992-95.

Harrison is part of a 22-member 2026 class set to be inducted on Dec. 8 in Las Vegas, which includes the likes of Aaron Donald, Mark Ingram and Ndamukong Suh.

Before embarking on a 13-year NFL career with the Indianapolis Colts — which featured eight All-Pro selections and a Super Bowl — Harrison first starred at the then-Carrier Dome. As a three-year starter, Harrison racked up 135 receptions and 20 touchdowns with the Orange. He also served as one of the nation’s best kick returners.

Quarterbacked by fellow Hall of Famer Donovan McNabb, Harrison exploded for 1,131 receiving yards and eight touchdowns in his senior year, helping Syracuse to a 9-3 record and top-20 finish in the AP Poll. Harrison was named to the 1995 All-America First Team.

It led to Harrison being selected 19th overall in the first round of the 1996 NFL Draft. He instantly became a perennial starter for the Colts, where he became the franchise’s all-time leader in receptions (1,102), yards (14,580) and touchdowns (128). He retired in 2009 and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2016.

Now, Harrison adds another accomplishment to an already loaded resume as SU’s 11th inductee to the CFB Hall of Fame.
