Former Western Kentucky tight end Noah Meyers has committed to Syracuse, 247Sports reported Friday. Meyers hauled in 32 passes for 357 yards and two touchdowns last season for the Hilltoppers.
Meyers will enter SU with two years of eligibility remaining. He redshirted his freshman year in 2023 and played five games in 2024, where he accumulated just 123 yards on seven catches. He saw his production spike this past campaign as WKU’s primary tight end.
The Louisville, Kentucky, native adds further depth to a revitalized pass catching unit. Receivers Darrell Gill Jr., Johntay Cook and Emanuel Ross entered the portal and tight end Dan Villari is out of eligibility, leaving the unit barren. However, he joins Miami (Ohio)’s Cole Weaver and Florida State’s Elijah Moore as reinforcements for 2026.
Meyers marks the 18th commitment the Orange have snagged out of the portal, including additions to the defensive side that should boost a unit that allowed the most average points (34.9) in the Atlantic Coast Conference last year. SU has also seen 28 players enter the portal.
