Officers removed a trespasser from the Newhouse School of Communications Tuesday afternoon, a Syracuse University spokesperson confirmed.
The trespasser, a former student, had a prior no-trespass order, the spokesperson said. SU’s Department of Public Safety removed the former student after violating that order. The spokesperson did not identify the trespasser.
The incident mirrors a similar one at Newhouse on Jan. 30, where the SU spokesperson confirmed a former student was removed from Newhouse for also violating a no-trespass order.
When asked, the spokesperson did not comment on whether the two incidents were related.
