Hair Me Out
Stop by the Hair Me Out and Black Flea Market Expo on Monday. In honor of Black History Month, Syracuse University’s Belonging and Student Success’s event will offer exclusive products and services from a diverse collection of student-run businesses, including emerging creators, stylists and artists.

Heart and Soul Food: The Intersection Between Black Cuisine and Health and Wellness
In collaboration with the Barner-McDuffie House and the Barnes Center at The Arch, grab a bite of different soul foods with “Heart and Soul Food.” Going along with this year’s Black History Month theme, “A Century of Black History Commemorations,” this exhibition will honor the importance of soul food in the Black community. In this museum-style exhibition, students can sample different soul foods, modify recipes with healthier alternatives and learn about the history of soul food.

In need of a Valentine’s Day card? The Writing Center and Letters of Love will provide all the upcycled materials you need to create the perfect Valentine’s gift.

Inaugural Swann Ball: Valentine Xtravaganza
This Valentine’s Day weekend, sharpen your ballroom moves with the Inaugural Swann Ball: Valentine Xtravaganza. In addition to surprise guests, the LGBTQ+ Resource Center will also host a Vogue Workshop at Schine Underground at 6 p.m. ahead of the event. RSVP is required to attend.

Riff Off and Roses
Wrap up your Valentine’s Day weekend celebrations with Riff Off and Roses, hosted by University Union. From Otto Tunes to SU Groove Stand, enjoy this real-life “Pitch Perfect” inspired riff off with different student a cappella bands, followed by a screening of the film.
