Ryan Beaury has been hired as Syracuse’s director of men’s basketball operations, the university announced Thursday. The SU alum held the same position under Gerry McNamara at Siena and now returns to his alma mater.
In his new role, Beaury will “manage the operation of the men’s basketball office, assist with the coordination of team travel, serve as the liaison with department support services and organize recruiting visits,” per the program’s release.
Peter Corasaniti, who was the team’s director of operations this past season, was named associate athletics director of men’s basketball and operations on Tuesday. Beaury will take over Corasaniti’s role.
Beaury attended SU for both his undergraduate and master’s programs, receiving his master’s degree from the university in 2023. In his time at the school, he was a men’s basketball student manager for four years.
Beaury is the fourth member of McNamara’s Siena staff to follow him to Syracuse. Former Orange player Arinze Onuaku was named an assistant coach, and former SU player Ryan Blackwell was named director of player development. Ben Lee also followed McNamara from Siena as an assistant coach.
