Former Syracuse director of basketball operations Peter Corasaniti will remain on staff as the associate athletics director of men’s basketball and operations, SU announced in a release Tuesday. Corasaniti is an SU graduate and looks to be the only returning member from Adrian Autry’s coaching staff.
A Christian Brothers Academy alum, Corasaniti joined Syracuse’s staff full-time in 2019, serving as the director of basketball operations. He added an on-court assistant coach role for the 2025-26 season.
In his new position, Corasaniti will “provide executive oversight of all administrative and operational functions,” per the release. He’ll also mentor a new director of basketball operations. The Orange are yet to announce who that will be, but they’ve announced four other assistant coaches joining Gerry McNamara’s staff.
