Class of 2026 forward Destiny Robinson has committed to Syracuse women’s basketball, the program announced Monday morning.

“She is a true winner!” Orange head coach Felisha Legette-Jack said of Robinson in a press release. “The player that you find under the rock in broad daylight, a state championship winner, played against the best players in our great state and won. She’s gonna bring that pedigree to Syracuse.”

The Queens, New York, native arrives at SU after her high school career at St. Mary’s Prep in Manhasset, New York, and Archbishop Molloy in Briarwood, New York.

The 6-foot forward was named a First Team Nassau Suffolk Catholic High School Athletic Association selection three times and a NSCHSAA Player of the Year twice. In her senior season, Robinson recorded 450 points, 391 rebounds, 148 assists and 162 steals to guide St. Mary’s to a 22-3 record and the CHSAA New York State Division I Championship.

Robinson played her AAU ball at Castle Athletics for three years, where she won the Pro 16 PUMA National Championship in 2025.

She’s the second incoming freshman on the Orange’s roster for next season, joining fellow New York City guard Madison Howard as the sole 2026 commits.
