DPS, SPD search for suspects after car theft near Marshall Square Mall

Syracuse University’s Department of Public Safety responded to the Marshall Street Mall area on Friday, where four juveniles were reportedly seen exiting a stolen car, according to a campus-wide email from DPS.
After exiting the vehicle, the suspects entered the mall, fleeing the scene on foot, according to the email. One of the four suspects was detained by DPS in the Schine Student Center dining area and is now in custody.
The suspect taken into custody did not possess any weapons, according to the email.
The Syracuse Police Department is still searching for the remaining suspects.
