Syracuse women’s rowing remained at No. 10 in the Week 10 Pocock Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association Poll, which was released Tuesday. The Orange are now ranked 10th for the fifth straight week. They haven’t raced since the Wolverine Double Dual on April 25.

Tuesday’s poll is the final edition before the Atlantic Coast Conference Championships this weekend. SU travels to Lake Wheeler in Raleigh, North Carolina, where it’ll race against No 3. Stanford, No. 6 Cal, No. 8 Virginia, No. 13 Duke, No. 14 Miami and No. 23 North Carolina. The ACC enters the postseason with seven ranked programs, tying the Ivy League for the most in the country.

The 2025 ACC Championships ended in disappointment for the Orange, who won the title in 2024. Syracuse advanced all five boats into the finals and earned victories in the second varsity 8 and varsity 4 during preliminary racing last year.

SU struggled to keep pace with Stanford during the championship finals, though. The Cardinal won every race, while the Orange finished outside the top three in several events, ending their bid for back-to-back conference titles.

This season, SU enters the ACC Championships battle-tested against some of the country’s top programs. After falling short last year, it looks to reestablish itself among the ACC’s elite before the NCAA Championships begin on May 30.
