Former Le Moyne attack Thomas Berry has committed to Syracuse men’s lacrosse, Syracuse.com reported Saturday.

Berry led the Dolphins with 34 points last season, totaling 31 goals and three assists.

The Tully, New York, native compiled 57 goals and 15 assists in three seasons at the crosstown school. Barry has one year of eligibility remaining.

While in high school at Tully, Barry logged 60 goals and 53 assists as a senior and received First Team All-League honors twice.

Berry is the first true attack to join SU in the transfer portal this offseason. Syracuse lost significant production on offense with the graduation of all-time points leader Joey Spallina and clinical finisher Finn Thomson, who led the Orange in goals in 2026.

SU already added former Vermont midfielder Tristan Whitaker, former Lafayette midfielder Cooper Pasko, former Bryant midfielder/attack Zac Amend and former UMass-Lowell midfielder Johnny Soi in the portal.

The Orange have only lost two players to the portal this offseason. Goalkeeper Michael Ippoliti headed to Virginia, and short-stick defensive midfielder/long-stick midfielder Brett Spallina also entered the portal.
