Amari Eliano will follow his father to Syracuse.
A three-star class of 2027 prospect who plays wide receiver and safety, Eliano announced his commitment to the Orange Sunday on social media. Eliano’s father, Perry Eliano, was hired as SU’s defensive backs coach before the 2026 season.
Eliano chose Syracuse over offers from Bowling Green, Miami (Ohio), Toledo, Eastern Michigan and Western Michigan.
During his junior season at Central Catholic High School (Ohio), Eliano recorded 25 catches for 404 yards and three touchdowns. The 6-foot Ohio native is the 72nd-best player from the state, per 247Sports.
Eliano’s decision gives Syracuse the 39th-best 2027 recruiting class, per 247Sports, which includes 24 three-star prospects and one unranked addition.
