Starting this Friday, Syracuse’s annual retro video game convention will feature retro and modern gaming through tournaments, cosplay, panels, tabletop games, voice actors and more. The convention is for gamers or people that want to learn more about the genre’s history. It will run through Sunday.

Syracuse International Film Festival: 35 mm to Animation Day
This Sunday is the last day of the Syracuse International Film Festival. On Friday and Saturday, the festival will be held in Cazenovia, before moving to Syracuse Sunday. Visitors can watch feature films and learn about the filmmaking process behind them. As the title suggests, viewers can anticipate a range of works from animations to movies shot on 35mm film.
