SPD investigates Tuesday evening stabbing of 20-year-old in Thornden Park

Syracuse Police Department officers responded to a non-life-threatening stabbing in Thornden Park on Tuesday evening, according to an SPD release.
The victim, identified as a 20-year-old male, was stabbed in the neck.
First responders arrived on scene at 600 S. Beech St. — near the Thornden Park Pool — at around 8:38 p.m. Responders transported the victim to Upstate University Hospital after initially treating him at the park, according to the release.
The park is minutes away from Syracuse University’s campus.
