After sweeping the Harry Lang Invitational and Harry Groves Spiked Shoe Invitational, Syracuse men’s cross country jumped four spots to No. 9 in the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Poll, which released Tuesday.
SU’s women’s team remained unranked but is only eight points behind No. 30 Boise State.
The men’s team also holds the top spot in the Northeast region, while the women have jumped to third after upsetting then-No. 10 Penn State at the Harry Groves Spiked Shoe Invitational.
Syracuse races against Princeton Saturday at the Princeton Invitational following a week off.
