SU’s 2027 ACC slate features 1st-ever Stanford trip, Florida State at home

Syracuse football released its Atlantic Coast Conference matchups for the 2027 season Wednesday afternoon. Of SU’s nine scheduled opponents, it meets five this year.
The Orange open the campaign in Toronto at BMO Field against Wake Forest and notably make a cross-country trip to Palo Alto, California, for the first time in program history to face Stanford.
Besides its trip to Stanford, SU travels to Louisville and Virginia Tech. The Orange play the ranked Cardinals this season on Oct. 17, one of their four ranked matchups.
Syracuse avoids Virginia, SMU and Clemson — each of whom it plays this year — in 2027. It’ll host Boston College, Florida State, North Carolina, NC State and Pittsburgh at the JMA Wireless Dome.
The 2027 campaign marks the second year of the ACC’s nine-game conference scheduling model.
