Syracuse’s 2026-27 ACC slate features Duke, UNC home games and Autry’s return

Syracuse men’s basketball announced its 2025-26 Atlantic Coast Conference slate Wednesday afternoon.
In head coach Gerry McNamara’s first season at the helm, the Orange will host both North Carolina powerhouses in the JMA Wireless Dome. Duke will pay a visit on Jan. 5, while North Carolina will make the trip on Jan. 23.
SU was also handed home-and-home clashes with rival Pitt, as well as Stanford.
The Orange’s former coach, Adrian Autry, will return to the Dome on Feb. 3 with Virginia, where Autry was hired as an assistant coach in April after his dismissal from SU.
The only ACC team Syracuse won’t play is NC State.
SU opens its conference schedule at Florida State on Dec. 29 before coming home to take on Georgia Tech on Jan. 2. Then, it’ll take on the Blue Devils.
The Orange will next take a two-game road trip to Miami on Jan. 9 and Pitt on Jan. 12. Following its travels, SU will have a three-game homestand, with matchups against Louisville on Jan. 16, Boston College on Jan. 19 and UNC on Jan. 23.
A West Coast trip awaits afterward, where Syracuse will compete against Stanford on Jan. 27 before meeting Cal on Jan. 30.
After Autry comes back to the Dome with the Cavaliers on Feb. 3, the Orange will travel to play Clemson on Feb. 10. Then, their second date with Stanford is Feb. 17 at home.
Next, Syracuse will take a trip to Dallas to face SMU on Feb. 20 before returning home to battle with Pitt in the two teams’ second meeting.
The Orange’s conference slate concludes at Notre Dame on Feb. 27, at Virginia Tech on March 3 and by hosting Wake Forest on March 6.
Seven of Syracuse’s ACC foes reached the NCAA Tournament last year. The Orange didn’t. They’re amid a five-year drought from the Big Dance, the program’s longest stretch away from March Madness since 1967–72.
SU’s nonconference schedule includes a meeting with Indiana on Nov. 9 in Indianapolis, a Dec. 1 trip to Oklahoma and a matchup with Providence on Dec. 19 in Boston’s TD Garden.
The Orange’s season begins against New Haven on Nov. 2.
