4-star attack Luke Conly becomes Syracuse’s 10th 2028 recruit

Four-star attack Luke Conly has committed to Syracuse men’s lacrosse, he announced on social media Tuesday morning. Conly is the 10th player and eighth four-star to pledge to the Orange’s 2028 class, per Inside Lacrosse.
Conly attends Cardinal Gibbons High School (North Carolina) and plays club lacrosse for Team 91 Charlotte. He’s a right-handed attack and stands 6-foot, 165 pounds.
Across two years with Cardinal Gibbons, Conly has totaled 88 goals and 54 assists in 43 games. He only had 18 goals and eight assists as a freshman in 2025 but broke out as a sophomore, upping his numbers to 70 goals and 46 assists. He’s also scooped up 51 ground balls across his high school career.
Conly is Syracuse’s eighth commitment in 10 days. He joins seven other four-stars in SU’s 2028 class, including attack Hudson O’Hanlon, midfielders Nash Parker, Owen Morret and Jaxon Crouse, long stick midfielders JT Macaluso and Preston James III and FOGO Mason Proctor.
The class also includes three-stars Austin Flaum and Jack Colclasure. The Orange haven’t reeled in a five-star recruit.
Conly and his fellow 2028 recruits still have a year of high school left. In the meantime, Syracuse will look to return to the NCAA Tournament after the departure of its legendary 2022 senior class.
