Syracuse adds 4-star attack, 4-star FOGO and 3-star midfielder to 2028 class

Four-star attack Hudson O’Hanlon, four-star faceoff specialist Mason Proctor and three-star midfielder Austin Flaum committed to Syracuse men’s lacrosse, they announced on social media Sunday and Monday. The three join four-star midfielder/attack Nash Parker in SU’s 2028 class.
O’Hanlon, SU’s highest-ranked 2028 commit, ranks 45th nationally, per Inside Lacrosse. The site credits him with a “smooth and crafty offensive game with the ability to score from multiple areas of the field.” He’s listed as left-handed, but IL stated he’s “comfortable with either hand.”
Like Syracuse’s sole 2027 five-star Moe Sobel, O’Hanlon plays club lacrosse for Prime Time in Cross River, New York. He attends Westminster School in Simsbury, Connecticut, but previously played at Daniel Hand High School, an hour south in Madison.
At Daniel Hand, O’Hanlon tallied 59 goals and 50 assists as a sophomore and 55 points as a freshman. When he left for Westminster, O’Hanlon reclassified to 2028. He stands 5-foot-11 and weighs 180 pounds.
Proctor — a Pennsylvania native — currently plays for St. Joseph’s Preparatory School in Philadelphia and Brotherly Love Hercules Lacrosse Club. The right-handed FOGO won 193 of 266 faceoffs (72.5% win rate) and added 11 goals and five assists in 2026 at St. Joseph’s.
In 2025, Proctor played at nearby Malvern Preparatory School, where he won 155 of 228 faceoffs (68%) and scored six goals.
The 5-foot-11, 182-pound prospect was evaluated by Inside Lacrosse at a recent tournament and received an 86 grade, the highest among FOGOs. The publication cited that “Proctor’s ability to play the ball into a space for his wings felt like a tool he’s sharpened in his toolbox to go along with his game-breaking athleticism.”
Per his recruiting profile, Proctor also plays football and runs track.
Flaum attends Brighton High School in Rochester, New York. In 2026, he posted 38 goals and 30 assists with the Bruins.
He also plays for Sweetlax Upstate, which went 17-1 in 2026. Flaum is one of six starred players on its roster, per Inside Lacrosse. The right-handed recruit stands 5-foot-10, 168 pounds.
