Syracuse men’s and women’s rowing released their 2026-27 schedules this week.
The men’s slate features one fall scrimmage and six spring meets before the Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championship in late May. The women begin their fall season this weekend at the Tail of the Fish Invitational and participate in five races in the spring.
SU men’s rowing begins its campaign against California, Stanford and Wisconsin on April 3-4 at the Redwood Shores Invite in Redwood Shores, California. The Golden Bears and Cardinal will pose an early-season challenge to the Orange after ranking second and fifth in the nation, respectively, in 2026. Syracuse finished 12th, while the Badgers placed 14th.
The Orange then return to Syracuse to host the Goes Trophy against Cornell and Navy. SU has won the last six Goes Trophies. The Packard Cup against Dartmouth, the Conlan Cup with Boston University and the Lake Morey Invite against Georgetown follow at the end of April.
The Eastern Sprints caps Syracuse’s regular season on May 16 before the IRA Championship.
On the women’s side, SU opens its spring season at the Doc Hosea Invitational in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, before heading to Princeton for the Ivy Invitational on April 3. The Orange spend the next two weekends back in New York for a meet against Yale and Dartmouth in Sarasota Springs and the New York State Championships.
Big Ten foes Michigan and Ohio State race Syracuse in Ann Arbor, Michigan, on April 24. The Orange then trek to the Atlantic Coast Conference Championships in Raleigh, North Carolina, on May 15-16 and the NCAA Championships in Sarasota, Florida, on May 28-30, looking to build off its program-best finish from last year.
