Syracuse women’s basketball releases 2026-27 ACC schedule

Syracuse women’s basketball released the Atlantic Coast Conference portion of its 2026-27 schedule Wednesday afternoon. The Orange notably host North Carolina, Pitt and Notre Dame in the JMA Wireless Dome and hit the road to face Duke, Stanford, Cal and Clemson, among others.
SU’s conference schedule features eight teams that reached the 2026 NCAA Tournament and 18 total games. The Orange face each ACC team once except for Boston College, which they’ll meet on Jan. 14, 2027, in Syracuse, and again on Feb. 18, 2027, in Chestnut Hill.
SU begins its season Nov. 3 against Sacred Heart and starts conference play Dec. 6 at home versus SMU. It’s the second straight season Syracuse’s conference slate begins against the Mustangs.
After its ACC opener, SU heads to the hostile Cameron Indoor Stadium to play Duke, which reached the Elite Eight and fell to eventual national champion UCLA last year. Former Syracuse guard Sophie Burrows then returns to the Dome with her new squad, North Carolina. Burrows played three seasons for the Orange, serving as one of SU’s top playmakers alongside Dominique Darius, Laila Phelia and Uche Izoje last year.
Games against Virginia Tech, Pitt and Florida State open the new year before Boston College, which Syracuse trounced twice last year, enters the Dome in January. Notre Dame legend Hannah Hidalgo then gets one more opportunity to dispatch the Orange.
After encountering the Fighting Irish, SU makes its first trip to the West Coast to face Stanford and Cal. Head coach Felisha Legette-Jack and general manager Mykala Walker ventured to California this summer to reach a broader audience, and this is their first chance to see if it worked.
Syracuse then hosts Miami and NC State, with a duel at Georgia Tech sandwiched in between, after the trip out west. The Orange complete their regular season against Louisville, Virginia, BC, Clemson and Wake Forest in late February, a stretch that could prove crucial for Syracuse to reach its third NCAA Tournament in the last four years.
